What is Flow?

It is likely you have experienced being in flow. Flow is a psychological state of being, where you will be fully immersed and focused on a particular activity. You will feel energised, the activity will feel easy, you will be fully absorbed and perceptions of time can become distorted.

Prominent Psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi is credited with recognising and naming the concept of psychological flow, where he realised that people were happiest when they were in a state of flow, describing flow as "being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. The ego falls away. Time flies. Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one, like playing jazz. Your whole being is involved, and you're using your skills to the utmost."

Business needs flow now more than ever.  The complex and volatile nature of the business environment has resulted in people and systems being overwhelmed and burnt out.

Our clients all want to have more time, less stress and greater success.  This is because we are not optimising our full potential of body and mind in how we are working and approaching the modern world challenges.

By training ourselves to find our ‘flow’ we are re-engaging with the world and the challenge from a place of power, ease and clear thinking, enabling individuals and business to harness this ‘super power’ and achieve more with greater ease.

Flow is a movement.  It is energy and has power as well as ease.  When life is in flow it is abundant, dynamic and is working in synchronicity with its environment.  Without flow life becomes static, stagnant and toxic.
